Hovhannes Shiraz House-Museum

Hovhannes Shiraz is an Armenian famous poet who was born in Gyumri. T The house in which the museum is now located was built in 1883 by rich Alexandrapol citizen Qeshishyan.. After the revolution, the house was confiscated and used as a residential building. The basement acted as a production hall. In 1983, the house was presented to the poet, unfortunately, Shiraz did not have time to live there, since he died in 1984. In 2003, the house-museum of Hovhannes Shiraz was officially opened. The Museum displays personal belongings, manuscripts and works of the poet.

You can independently get to the courtyard of the house-museum from O. Shiraz street. The ramp at the entrance to the building also provides an opportunity to get acquainted with the museum's exposition.
